Adjust machine & paper size – not working

I can’t seem to get the Adjust machine & paper size button to display any settings.

I’ve tried reinstalling Java, both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions on 2 different windows machines – both with different versions of windows 7 & 8. I have the latest makelangelo.jar (update software button – this software is up to date).

All the other buttons work. The image area has some trouble displaying anything other than a hilbert curve. The machine seems to work fine – though with warping – hence the need to adjust the size of the machine.

Is there a step I am missing in order to adjust machine & paper size to work? I used to flip the cassette player on my c64 to make the games load correctly, perhaps it’s something like that? lol.
