This kit needs a lot of work and isn’t officially for sale yet, but if you really really need a devkit I can set you up.

This morning I boxed a Makelangelo kit and then I redesigned my test machine.
After lunch I’m going to try some movement experiments and calibrations, then a test drawing or two.
When pen up/down works I’m going to ship two kinds of Makelangelo:
In both cases you need a wall, some string, and a sharpie. The question is, which would you prefer? I’m offering pre-orders of both right now. Think of it like a Kickstarter!
Until then I’m still offering the current makelangelo kit for $150. Get it now and design your own pen holder.
I use Google Hangouts to record what I’m doing. Before I start my recording I announce the Hangout address on Twitter and Facebook.
Today I designed version 8 of the pen holder, moved some motors around to try and improve image quality, got the hairy eyeball from my dog supervisor, and made myself useful.
I’m offering to sell any print I make during the day. If you want to make a request I will film it drawing live and then send you the picture. All I ask for is postage and a nice tweeted picture when you get it.
