Hello Makelangelo world.
I am so close to finishing my Makelangelo 5 bot for my class. I am having trouble with my display (different model) to what Dan uses, and I dont know exactly where to plug the servo to lift the pen.
If anyone can help with this let me know..
cheers
You’ll want the bottom right corner of EXP3 on a RUMBA board. note that the the ground and power wires have to be swapped. Putting power backward through a servo is bad news.
Thanks dan for that.
So i have put the servo on the board
see images attached.
but i get no response.
Hope this link works.
am i doing it right.
Cheers
turn the plug 180
Thanks i will give that a go.
Cheers
No love,
I have tried 3 different servos thinking maybe it was the servo that was busted.. 1 was clean out of the packet..
How do i test it other then pressing pen up and down??
cheers
all sorted,.. 🙂
i had 4 servos and 3 were faulty.. even the new one lol
whats the chances
http://imgur.com/a/0BR5x this is how i do it.
My servo has the Jitters.. DOnt know why lol
It works and moves in and out.. but it jitters for a bit..
cheers
could be poor quality servo, could have been fried by putting current through it the wrong way, could be noise from a bad RUMBA board, could be low power? That last one is unlikely.
