Motors not rotating properly

Hi

I have everything assembled and I have the GUI working and the arduino code uploaded. When I click the buttons the motors work but not properly. They make noise and some times rotate for a second or two and then stop. Whats strange is that my results have been inconsistent, every time I reset or unplug and plug back in the arduino I get a different result. Any thoughts as to what my issue might be?

I had a somewhat similar experience. Replacing the .ino file of Arduino solved it.
Can you tell us a bit more about versions and platform?
