Java Application Crashing During Connect

Hello,
I’ve been having trouble getting the Makelangelo software (v. 7.21.0) working. So far I’ve tried it on a MacBook Air in both OS X 10.14.5, and with Boot Camp in Windows 10. I’ve also tried it in Windows 10 on a different desktop machine.
In both instances on Windows, the application crashes as soon as I click “OK” on the Connect menu. I’ll upload the full log file on my next post, but it appears to throw an “EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION”.
Does java have permission to open a serial connection to your robot? It may be your OS security settings.
