I have just installed a new Makelangelo 5.
“Find home” results in the two weights going to the top and just grinding up there until I press stop. Have I missed some kind of step that is making this not work?You need endstops. Makelangelo 5 introduced endstops. If you don’t have any just don’t push this button. Under no circumstances. DO.NOT.PUSH.THE.BUTTON.
When the weights rise to the top the flat disc on top should touch the switch and end the homing routine. Why are they missing the switches? If they are hitting and the machine doesn’t stop then you may have a broken/disconnected wire.
