    I had students from UBC lined up to start work on a the UberPenHolder. I received word yesterday that they’ve bailed on me in favor of a more interesting project.

    I can’t pretend I’m not disappointed, but this gives me the opportunity to extend to you, dear readers, the chance at fame and glory! Can you do what UBC couldn’t? Are you chicken, McFly?

    Pen up/down works. Now to make it really sing so we can get it into kits.

    But it doesn’t work great. Anyone care to suggest a better method? Next I’m going to try Der Kritzler’s method with a small wire that is pushed out by the servo arm.
