Designing a new robot arm. Help!

Here’s the post on hackaday.io. I don’t know why I posted it there. Probably because I skipped lunch and my blood sugar is low.

I’m making a new robot arm and I don’t have enough know-how to properly attach the shoulder to the base. Can you help?
