Binocular telescope
Today we have an update about Hong Kong, 3D printing for you, and much more. Read on for all the details.

Stewart Platforms

The Stewart Platform has proven surprisingly popular. Have you seen our forums? Member josspogg is looking to make binocular telescopes using two stewart platforms (as pictured). Anyone interested in helping him out should pop in and say hi. Note: when you create a user account in the store you also create a forum account and get a chance to sign up for our mailing list. Three birds with one stone!

Delays

As you may have heard, there are some protests in Honk Kong at the moment. This is causing a delay for some of our parts, which is trickling through to our orders. We are working on alternate solutions as we speak. Almost all our parts are still in stock and flowing same-day. Some of our kits are taking a little longer.

3D printing

As part of making robots we have 3D printers. When they’re not making parts for customers they’re available for you.

Did you know we’re on 3D Hubs and MakeXYZ? They’re two great services that let you order safely from us and leave a review. Compare with other local printers and you’ll see we have very competitive rates.

Thanks to Gabi and Marshall from ATX Hackspace for suggesting we sign up.

Final thoughts

Thank you all for asking me to post more often. I’m having such a great time filling orders that I forget to post here. Ask me for specific things and I’ll make time to write you a helpful blog post.
