Hi, is it possible to have a pause when Makelangelo 5
is drawing from SD-Card? Perhaps per USB-Connection?

In the Software I can see the progress (ngc-code). At the
bottom there is a line to type something and the button “send”.
Perhaps is´s possible to send a “pause” and a “unpause”-signal?

    Thanks

IIRC you can click the LCD panel and use the pause option. I’ve done this when the pen is drying out.

You cannot connect via USB to the makelangelo while it is running. Well, you CAN but it will reboot the robot. this is a problem with ALL arduino-based devices.

Assuming you are already connected while running the robot… I imagine an M226 (pause for user input aka click the button) would do the trick.

It´s not possible to click the LCD panel when drawing from SD-Card. There´s no
menu option for “Pause / Unpause”. This is only available when drawing per USB, but
that was not my question. Or do I overlooked something?

You mentioned M226. You mean this one? https://www.evike.com/products/34647/
    That´s not possible in Germany… 😉

Would it be possible to get such a function via firmware update?
