There should be a calibration pattern PDF with your original download, and the M3.2 setup video shows you how to use the calibration pattern to start at the correct spot every time.
As long as you home the machine (in the on-screen menu) and begin from that spot, everything should be ok. if it is not show me a video of your process so I can diagnose and fix the issue.
